A.I.S.E. is delighted to welcome four new members to its European network! The General Assembly, meeting in Milan on 19 June, approved the membership of IFRA, Givaudan, Lactips and Aicello-Harke to the category of Associate Members - the 11 associate members are companies and associations from the detergents value chain in areas such as fragrances, enzymes, plastic film or surfactants. 

Direct membership of A.I.S.E. consists of 29 national associations, 17 corporate members and 11 value chain partners. Through this extensive network across Europe, we represent over 900 companies active in the detergents industry, supplying household detergents and professional cleaning products and services. 85% of these are small and medium sized enterprises.

The industry is a substantial contributor the European economy. In 2018, the market value was €36,7 billion and the sector employs 95 000 people directly, and 360 000 throughout the value chain.
